laser skin resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing can be done alone or with other procedures such as a facelift.
This procedure smoothes out lines and wrinkles by removing damaged skin. It is especially
helpful for the fine lines around the mouth and crow?s feet area. Although it does
not lift the skin like a facelift, it provides significant improvement in the skin
quality by making the skin smoother.
Other uses for laser resurfacing include improvement in acne scarring. Dr.Liszka
uses both the carbon dioxide and erbium laser and he will guide you in which laser
to be used for your particular skin problem.
Laser resurfacing usually requires skin preparation directed by Dr. Liszka and the
aesthetician. Prep times can be 4 to 6 weeks. Treated skin usually requires 5 to
7 days to heal and it may be a little longer before make-up can be applied.
